The Bailout...

...is the attempt by the incompetent, to explain the incomprehensible, to the incapable. The incapable then believe the incompetent comprehend the unfathomable. In fact, the whole world is being led by idiots whom traverse paths they've never traveled and are too scared and ignorant to include us in the glorious adventure that is once in a life time.

95% of the population are asleep at the wheel and 5% have what author Colin Wilson coined as "Faculty X". The many perceive the day to day events as all there is and the few perceive the unlimited potential and the timelessness of it all (what ever ALL might be). The Sheep and the Shepherds . Our leadership consists of the many tapped buy the few to lead us down a path. These few have been infected by the Virus of the "Seven Deadly Sins" (the Fallen Angels of our times). Though not hopeless, the situation warrants a tireless drive forward through caring and patient understanding, Love and compassion and the relentless pursuit of education for the many. The more our culture steps back towards the Dark Ages the worse it all appears to the many which instills fear and a sense of hopelessness. This simple equation is the goal of the fallen few.

Yes. I get pretty grumpy sometimes with how much has changed since the activist 60's; of which I was a part. And yes we are going in reverse to our eventual doom. I see it, I know it, but for the life of me I just don't understand Americans (most) any more, at all. How can one not see the Mountain one is about to fly into in clear weather?

I see you're adding some things to your blog.

I am a child of the seventies. My soul call's longingly for the sixties though. The snow outside beckons the silent prospectors of the White-Gold. I must heed My bosses call. 14 degrees but no wind, A beautiful morning !!!

35C (95F) today; the warmest day since October. Summer is coming. The Thais say: We have 3 seasons; hot, hotter, and hottest. If one can resist air conditioning (which I've done) then one can acclimate and live with a fan. 14 degrees is no longer in my reality, LOL. But my wife did get to see falling snow in Oregon in March of 2007; made her day. I like your new moniker. Keep healthy.

You don;t realize how nice it is in Colorado until you leave and the awe strike of the return is always a wonder. Cold is cold but this is a high desert climate as such generally has low humidity. 20-25 degrees in a windless sunshine can be done in shirt sleeves. (for a while) We hit 100 degrees 6-7 days 90's maybe 30 days the evenings are in the 50-60 range. I open everything at night and button the house up until the outside temp. is again below the inside. I live in a 100 + year old house in the oldest (not indigenous) town ,Old Colorado City . OCC was the original state capital and is now the west end of Colo. Spgs. I have found my voice on the internet during my seasonal unemployment. This has been a true learning experience in many more ways than one. You can read some of my more serious writings on Politico's Arena and my sometimes whimsical writings in my "letters to Barack" series on Politico's playbook. Though most of the blogosphere is rant and as such gets readily dismissed I have some of my stuff get all the way to the top. It's has opened my eyes to the power of the written word. I must admit though, Spell check has been the key that opened the door of my long hidden talent for creative writing. I have seen what is lacking in the ability of most to share more than basic communication skills is the unlimited potential of words. Creative writing should be a K-12 requirement along with Music and Art to open the left/right brain hemisphere flow. Do you have High speed internet? I would like to send you a few photos of my experience here. Karl

Yes, I do have DSL. Fast? Yes, sometimes, LOL. Anyway send away, I'd like to see them. I saw your recent comments on TD. Good posts. As you indicated before; like you, I have a love hate relationship there. I rarely post there anymore. Too much competition for top dog and a lot of drivel. Check out the Agonist; very intelligent posts and blogging. I'm Celsius 233 there.
Peace
